University Staff Assembly (USA)

General Information

The USA is an official part of the University’s governance structure. This assembly gives support staff the opportunity to be involved in the development of policies by which the university operates.

The USA recognizes its shared responsibility for the performance of the University in carrying out its mission. We understand and support the need for commitment to the decision processes by which the University conducts its work and maintains its standards. To that end, the mission of the USA is to actively participate in governance on the SSU campus, thereby strengthening the University and assisting in carrying out its commitment to education.
