Complete 3 easy steps to be considered for one of our merit-based scholarships. Scholarship deadline December 1, 2017.

Apply to Shawnee State University and send us your transcripts and ACT or SAT scores by December 1, 2017 to be considered for the following, based on available funds:

Shawnee Scholar Award 

(Full-tuition scholarship for four years)

This highly competitive scholarship will be awarded to 8 outstanding students. If you have an ACT score of 30 and higher or SAT (combined reading/math) score of 1320+ and a high school grade point average of at least 3.8/4.0 scale you will be considered for this prestigious award. Those in consideration will be asked to submit sample work.

Shawnee Achievement Award 

($6,000 per year/$24,000 for four years)

If you have an ACT score of 27 and higher or SAT (combined reading/math) score of 1210+ and a high school grade point average of at least 3.8/4.0 scale you will be considered for this award.

Shawnee Excellence Award
($5,000 per year/$20,000 for four years)

If you have an ACT score of 25 and higher or SAT (combined reading/math) score of 1130+ and a high school grade point average of at least 3.6/4.0 scale you will be considered for this award.

Shawnee Success Award
($4,000 per year/$16,000 for four years)

If you have an ACT score of 23 and higher or SAT (combined reading/math) score of 1060+ and a high school grade point average of at least 3.4/4.0 scale you will be considered for this award.

Blue & Gray Award
($3,000 per year/$12,000 for four years)

If you have an ACT score of 21 and higher or SAT (combined reading/math) score of 980+ and a high school grade point average of at least 3.2/4.0 scale you will be considered for this award.

Students placed in developmental English, Math, or Reading classes are not eligible for the merit-based scholarship program.

*Additional full-tuition scholarships available for women and African-American students majoring in one of our game design programs.

Renewal Requirements

Your scholarship is renewable every year for four years. Maintain a 3.0 GPA and earn 27 credit hours per academic year in order to automatically renew your scholarship each academic year.
