2018 Open Enrollment
Benefit Open Enrollment is being held now through November 17, 2017. During this Open Enrollment period, all full-time (benefit-eligible) employees have the opportunity to enroll, terminate, or add/drop dependents from the SSU health plan. You also have the opportunity to enroll in voluntary benefit plans. All elections made during the annual Open Enrollment period will become effective January 1, 2018.
We are excited to announce that 2018 open enrollment activities will occur in BearTrax. All elections must be made by the close of business on Friday, November 17, 2017.

LIFE INSURANCE BENEFITS
The University provides a Basic Life Insurance policy for all eligible Faculty, Administrators and Support Staff. Each policy includes an Accidental Death & Dismemberment benefit in addition to the basic amount of life insurance. Supplemental Retirement Savings Plans (Employee paid)
Employees working 20 or more hours per week and are expected to work more than 1,000 hours in a 12-month period may participate in the 403(b) plan. All employees may participate in the 457 Deferred Compensation Plan.
The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) determines the maximum annual contribution limit for qualified retirement plans. The 2016 contribution limits for the SSU Supplemental Retirement Savings Program's 403(b) Plan and/or 457(b) Plan are as follows:

Employee Meal Plan Discount Program
This meal plan offers the BEST VALUE of all plans - you get an all-you-care-to-eat experience, including beverage and dessert. If you will eat about two (2) meals per week in the Bears Den Cafeteria, this is the plan for you.
This is a great starter plan if you are not sure which meal plan is best for you. You receive a 15% discount and the all-you-care-to-eat experience and still includes a beverage and dessert.
